Tuesday, October 13th, 2009.I took a comp day from work (on what ended up being an extremely busy day) in order to make the trek & made a day of it. The recipe for these came from the "Better Homes" cookbook from umpteen years ago that mom always uses. (I would've used Alton Brown's, but I'm not crazy about yogurt.)I did use a couple of hints from AB, however. I tossed the blueberries with a spoonful of the dry team & let the finished products cool on a tea towel (albeit, also on a rack).I had one a few minutes later & they're wonderful!

We're all moved in, you betcha.  Settled?  Ehhh, mostly.  I still have some boxes floating around the room, along with several still out in our storage room. National Novel Writing Month, anyone?  I just wish they'd get the site back up & running so I can log the number of words so far.

And now the fun begins. Less than a half an hour ago, we got word the our (counter) offer was accepted! This is the first time I've ever moved so it's exciting! I'm gonna miss our current house since I've lived here all my life, but the new house is closer to my work & in a better location overall.We already giving away our piano to a cousin, so that's one less thing to haul with us.

I went to this concert last night & it was awesome! The 450 some-odd seat venue was nearly full & the crowd was into it. There was laughter & the occasional request thrown out. It ran about 2.5 hours including intermission. There was not a bad seat in the house.Redbone plays music with a 20s/30s twinge. Wainwright's music has a comedic twinge, but with a feel of true-to-life stories.http://
